Proposal Manager

Responsible for successful completion of proposals and/or delivery of proposal products to our clients through hands-on management, corporate standard processes, relationships, and understanding stakeholder needs. Responsibilities include compliance with RFP instructions, ensuring development of the technical solution, quality of proposal content, meeting customer solution requirements, and ensuring a winning strategy is developed including written and unwritten customer requirements and innovative technical solutions that increase quality while decreasing costs.

 

The ideal candidate has:

  • Some technical background with technical or management degree,

  • Has written significant portions of DoD proposals compliant to Sections L&M, 

  • Has proposal and engineering/program estimating experience

  • Should have already lead a DoD winning proposal

  • Previously submitted RFP compliant proposals many times previously.

 

Experience:

  • 10 years professional work experience

  • At least 5 years in proposal/capture management in the military acquisition or simulation industries

  • Leadership attibutes

  • PMP desired

Senior Proposal Writer

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

  • Two (2) years of technical or proposal writing experience

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office

  • The creation of the RFP response includes the gathering and coordination of marketing, management, and development personnel inputs, and writing the response from source documentation (e.g., past proposals). It also includes continuous review of and knowledge of the current workforce systems (CMS/UI/VR/AE) and updating of boilerplate proposal documents.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create a shell document for proposal response inputs

  • Analyze requirements and write/create/find RFP responses matching the requirements

  • Find existing responses in previous proposals or boilerplate proposals

  • Organize the various inputs and responses to individual requirements to create a formatted and  organized draft proposal

  • Coordinate or perform line editing of final response for spelling / grammar / consistency

  • Create Final master files (& PDF copies) of the documented RFP response

  • Create hard copies of RFP for reference, presentations, internal use, etc.

  • Identify proposal input to be incorporated back into 'Boilerplate' documents/files

  • Develop and sustain productive customer relationships.

  • Communicate recommendations to take preventative steps and initiate further action

  • Manages time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently

  • Accurately check processes and tasks.

  • Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition, such as; time pressure or job ambiguity.

  • Achieve a satisfactory level of technical and professional skills, or knowledge in position related areas.

Proposal Editor

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Proposal Team Members, Capture Managers, Director of Business  Development,  Vice President of Strategy and Development, Consultants, and the Operational Team as needed to  complete the proposal effort.

  • Supports the proposal writing within a structured proposal development process.

  • Proposal writing duties will include but not be limited to the development, authoring, editing and production of content or entire products such as government proposals, requests for information responses, white papers, and capability statements.

  • As part of a team, reporting to Director of Business Development, maintains duties in a  support/lead role as required for: writing and editing; assigning/managing/soliciting inputs and content contributions from SMEs in field operations; collaborating with the proposal team to develop proposal response format and structure; working with Capture Manager, Proposal 

  • Manager and/or Director of Business Development to develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, past performance and proposal content; managing/collecting subcontractor past performance and writing assignments to develop and submit final proposal documents.

  • Prepares and provides data calls to teaming partners related to capabilities statements, past performance, etc.Interviews SMEs and knowledge experts to gather knowledge and information to support proposals.

  • Plays a key role in proposal editing, formatting, compliance checks, final proposal assembly and delivery. •

  • Develops and tracks proposal milestones related to individual work assignments.

  • Conducts/supports formal team reviews in accordance with the proposal method (pink, red, gold and final).

  • Prepares RFP summaries and compliance matrices. Enters opportunities and updates opportunities in the CRM tool and other reports as necessary.

  • Supports Bid / No Bid Process by working with and coordinating efforts of the Capture

  • Management team for Executive Management formal briefings.

  • Acts as a change agent through continued development, maintenance and improvement of the formal proposal development process based on corporate goals, business development objectives and growth priorities.

  • Works in concert with operational and capture management counterparts implementing a dynamic, flexible proposal support framework.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related area strongly preferred

  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years of proposal, technical or sales writing. Preference for candidates with

  •   experience in proposal development in the federal government and/or DoD environment

  • Ability to conduct research and generate original content. Comfortable with writing about new

  •   topics and performing editorial work

  • Possess excellent writing skills for both technical and marketing-focused content

  • Strong organization skills necessary. Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

  • Prefer candidates with a technical understanding of the federal engineering and technical services contracting business

  • Possess strong presentation and communication skills

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, and exhibit excellent attention to detail 

  • Ability to support fast pace and changing schedules Excellent personal computer skills and extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Basic experience with Adobe program(s) such as Acrobat

  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint or other document management system/version control System preferred

  • Ability to travel as needed.

HVAC Regional Manager

Responsible for AC service, must be highly safety conscious due to client’s critical operations. Will be performing routine repair work on similar equipment in light commercial environment.

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and highly focused on safety. 50% or more travel expected with focus on OK primarily while on call.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to maintain safety procedures

  • Trouble shoot, repair, and replace equipment

  • Provide equipment information

  • Document service and update customer records based on every interaction
     

Qualifications:

  • Must have clean background check

  • Min of 5 years previous experience in service industry

  • Must have the ability to pass on going drug test

  • Certificate of completion from HVAC school

  • Must have clean driving record

  • Vehicle will be provided with necessary equipment

  • High school diploma or its equivalent

  • Ability to operate power and hand tools safely

  • Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service skills

  • Positive and professional demeanor

Aviation Program Managers

 Overall responsible for coordinating and executing the tasks as outlined in the RASM-P Performance Work Statement (PWS)- working closely with the Government Project Officer (PO)/ Contract Officer Representative (COR).                                                

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and project direction.

  • Manage and direct operations associated with RASM-P LOE Maintenance, Supply, Production Control, and Quality Assurance/Control. Directs completion of assigned tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.

  • Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates and subcontractors - ensures assignments are completed as directed and to standard.

  • Enforces work standards and reviews/resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Interfaces with the Company's Program Manager and Government RASM-P Management personnel. 

  • Conducts business practices to ensure both government and contractor requirements are met. Supervises and manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of logistical business/computer systems.

  • Optimizes planning, operations, and resources to ensure maximum capability is attained.

Qualifications:

15 years Senior Management experience required, Experienced in Microsoft Office Programs,  Ability to interpret ULLS, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Technical Manuals and Army Field Manuals.
